To use the cycle service, a minimum of 48 hours advance booking is required. Unless otherwise specified, your booking cannot be refunded. Amendments can be made, subject to availability and up to 24 hours notice before departure.

In order to ensure the safety of our customers and staff, the following has been put in place:

• A maximum group booking of 5 cyclists, providing they do not need to social distance
• A max of 2 single person bookings can be reserved on each trip
• Cyclists will not be allowed to sit in the front with the driver
• All passengers must wear a face covering at all times whilst in the vehicle
• The vehicle will be cleaned with antibacterial cleaner between each passenger transfer
• A screen is in place between the passengers and the driver

Tickets for travel with Eurotunnel are covered by current Conditions of Carriage. Please read them before travelling for certain exclusions of liability.

How can I take my bike to France?

Taking your bike to France is easy. On the day of your crossing, arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour ahead of the shuttle’s departure time at the pick-up/drop-off points mentioned below. There are set local times for this, so be sure you arrive at the right one. You will be collected by a minibus, which will take you to the terminal and onto the shuttle as you cannot travel by bike alone on the shuttles.

Fares

The fare is the same for adults and children with cycles. Children accompanying their parents on a child seat travel free of charge. Tandems are charged by the number of seats, occupied or not. Trailer prices are dependent on the size.

Depending upon the volume of traffic and the discretion of the driver, you may be able to take advantage of the facilities in the UK and French Passenger Terminal Buildings.

Pick-up and drop-off cycle points

In the UK the pick-up/drop-off point for cyclists is at the Holiday Inn Express Folkestone - Channel Tunnel at 10:30*

In France the pick-up/drop-off point for cyclists is Ciffco, Boulevard de l'Europe, 62904 Coquelles at 14:30*

Directions for cars carrying cyclists

Exit M20 junction 12 direction Cheriton, A20. At the roundabout, take 3rd exit keeping to right hand lane direction Cheriton/Sandgate. Follow signs MOD, the Holiday Inn Express will be on your left.

Parking for cyclists

Parking at the Holiday Inn Express Folkestone - Channel Tunnel is available for a daily fee, paid directly to the hotel. No reservations can be made in advance and is subject to availability. For further information call 01303 298 450.
